Select disk X (where x is the disk you want to partition/format)
Clean
Create partition primary size=30000 (about 32GB)
Select partition 1
Active
Format quick fs=Fat32
Assign
Exit

not sure if the first two options required a program (I am dealing with a windows 7 machine). But option 3 worked like a champ on my SSD that I accidentally made into a dynamic disk…thanks.
